2005 Golf for Mercy
The 2005 Oceans of Mercy Golf Tournament was a tremendous success despite the heavy downpour 11 holes into the tournament. 120 golfers participated in the tournament at the Shawnee Golf and Country Club in Shawnee, Kansas. For the third year in a row, Team Vision PCS took home the trophy. Because of the rain, scores were tallied after the first nine holes. Team Vision PCS were at 11 under par after nine holes, including three eagles aided by a chip-in on a par 4. Three teams were tied at nine under par after nine holes. A coin toss determined the distribution of prizes. Oceans of Mercy was able to raise a net amount of over $7000 for the Oceans of Mercy Children's Village in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.

The annual Oceans of Mercy Golf Tournament was first held in 2003 at Dub’s Dread Golf Course with a full field. This fun, yet competitive event culminates with a buffet dinner, silent auction and prize giving ceremony.
